Al Capone Would be Afraid

From January 1, 2021 to June 29, 2021, 1,892 people were shot in Chicago, a 12 percent increase over this period last year. Nationwide, 233 people were fatally shot and 618 wounded over the Fourth of July weekend. The U.S. is in the midst of a historic wave of crime and violence, a trend that shows no sign of abating.
