True journalist have the guts and integrity to speak truth to the power. And nothing is more powerful and hard to control than big government supported by big business. When so-called journalists find it in their interest to help politicians and giant corporations maintain their power and wealth, the Fourth Estate no longer exists to protect ordinary citizens. When influential journalists help politicians and corporations keep the public in the dark, democracy dies.
