The language of the lawyer is the language of the trickster. It's an inhuman language, a sub-language. And justice is hardly ever served. Justice is just forgotten. Our courts are swamps of dark and devious jargon. It's just a wash of dull, crippled, masked wordage put before a jury of 12 imbeciles or a bored judge.

The computer only does, it doesn't know. You can confuse it and it can turn on you. It's up to you to get alone with it. Still, the computer can go crazy and do odd and strange things. It catches viruses, gets shorts, bombs out, etc. Somehow, tonight, I feel that the less said about the computer the better.

As a youth I saw too many movies of the great artist, and the writer was always some tragic and very interesting chap with a fine goatee, blazing eyes, and inner truths springing to his tongue continually....The best writers that I know talk very little, I mean those who are doing the good writing. In fact, there is nothing duller than a good writer.
